About Epic Safar: The Story of a Trip Gone Right (And a Few Epicsters)

Ever been on a group trip where everyone is technically together, but it feels like a collection of solo missions? Yeah, we’ve been there too. In fact, that’s exactly where Epic Safar began – not in a fancy boardroom, but in the middle of a slightly awkward, totally un-epic group tour.

The “A-Ha!” Moment That Wasn’t So “A-Ha!”

Picture this: One of our founders (let’s call him an Epicster-in-training) was on a bus, surrounded by a wonderful mix of people – from energetic youngsters to wise elders. But something was missing. The silence was deafening. The elders, full of stories, were struggling with the pace and had no one to address their small but important needs. The younger folks were buried in their phones. There was zero connection.

It wasn’t a disaster, but it was… meh. And we believe travel should be anything but “meh.”

That’s when the idea hit us like a well-thrown backpack. We saw two giant gaps in the travel universe:

1. The “One-Size-Fits-None” Problem:Where were the tours that treated our elders not as an afterthought, but as VIPs? Where was the personalization, the comfort, the crafted experience that says, “We get you”?
2. The “Lonely-in-a-Crowd” Problem:Why was there no sense of community? A trip should build friendships, not just photo albums. We wanted to bring back the laughter, the shared stories, the “remember when?” moments for everyone.

And just like that, Epic Safar was born. We’re not here to just sell trips. We’re here to build connections and craft experiences that are, well, Epic.

Meet the Crazy Bunch Behind the Curtain (The Epicsters!)

We’re not a faceless corporation. We’re a bunch of friends (who haven’t even been on a trip together yet – more on that later!) who decided to turn our frustrations into a mission.

Hardik: The Corporate Escape Artist

A proud corporate rat who mastered the art of crafting “urgent” leave applications to fuel his travel addiction. He’s been on every kind of trip and knows exactly what sucks. His passion has finally broken free from the cubicle, and now he’s our chief experience officer.

Fun Fact: He has a permanent seat reserved on every single trip we plan. It’s in his contract

Nitish: The Hype Man

He heard the idea and jumped in faster than you can say “all-inclusive package.” A marketing whiz with a lust for teamwork, he’s the one who makes sure our brand doesn’t sound like a boring travel manual. He channels his energy to make sure we communicate with our guests like old friends.

Bhavesh: The Digital Wizard

Ask him about his favorite backpacking destination, and he’ll probably say “the server room.” Bhavesh is our techie who’s not really a ‘trip person’, but he makes sure our website doesn’t take a detour and your booking process is smoother than a freshly paved highway

 Rahul: Our Own Walking, Talking TripAdvisor

If there’s a shortcut, a hidden gem, or the best place to get a samosa near any temple in India, Rahul knows it. His ground presence is so strong that potential issues see him and just… fade away. He’s the guardian angel of every Epic Safar trip.

Our Founder’s Pact:

Believe it or not, the four of us have never been on a trip together. We know, it’s ironic! But we’ve made a sacred pact: Our first official group trip as a company will be our first vacation together. No pressure, right?

And So It Begins… With Our “Not Out Club”!

We’re starting our journey with our hearts. Our very first official offering is for the generation that inspired this whole idea.

We proudly present our Not Out Club – a tour package lovingly designed for our spirited elders who are definitely “Not Out” of the game of life! It’s our way of saying thank you and ensuring they get the comfortable, community-filled, and utterly epic adventure they deserve.

So, that’s our story. We’re a work in progress, fueled by chai, humour, and a belief that travel can be better.
